Another piece

This card is what I pictured when I first saw the layout in Simple Scrapbooks. Then Beate posted a tutorial on SCS and BAM!! That got my MOJO going! Well enough blathering, here ya go! I used Ruby Red and Chocolate Chip cardstock, Fabulous Flowers stamp set, Stampin' Pastels, Sponge Daubers, Versamark and WW craft ink. The green twill is from the Jersey ribbon originals pack. Check out the SplitCoastStampers tutorial here

Inspiration Found!

I was flipping through the latest issue of Simple Scrapbooks and found this layout.

Which inspired the layout above which I absolutely LOVE!!!!
Love SS for the inspiration. I used Sahara Sand, Ruby Red and Ginger Blossom DSP. Acetate which I distressed with WW craft ink and embellished with rubons from the Urban West pack. I colored photo turns, brads and jumbo eyelets with WW craft ink. Stamped "Dare to be Fabulous" with WW craft ink using the Fabulous Flowers stamp set. The ribbon is from Fairy Tale ribbon originals. And that Fabulous child is my granddaughter Sam.

Sneak Peek

Here is a sneak peek at the scrapbook class I have been getting ready. The class uses primarily the Summer Days Simply Scrappin' kit with a few extras to make 12 - 12x12 layouts. That is right 6 double layouts. I want to have the class at the end of March/ beginning of April. I will let you know when the exact date.
